YouTube is to broadcast all 15 of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship, which kicks off in New Delhi on Saturday (2 December).
As well as live coverage, YouTube will also provide a highlights package from each match every day a game is played.
Through the tie up with SAFF's marketing and media partner World Sport Group, the matches will be accessible worldwide via http://www.youtube.com/SAFFChampionship except in India, where they will be available on a delayed basis the day after they are played.
"We are thrilled to expand our partnership with World Sport Group and have our platform for live-streaming used to help national associations and leagues make deeper connections with their fans wherever they are in the world," said John Vamvakitis, YouTube Head of Sport Partnerships, Asia-Pacific.
The SAFF Championship is a biennial competition that is contested by Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Defending champions India will host the seventh edition of the event to be held from 2-11 December.
Football fans in India will be able to see live action on television via Ten Sports, while in the Maldives, state broadcaster Maldives National Broadcasting Corporation (MNBC) will air all the matches.
