ICC confirms World T20 news distribution

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has signed three news distribution partners for the upcoming World Twenty20 tournament in Sri Lanka.

Sports News Television (SNTV), Perform and Reuters will have access to news highlights, press conferences and event-related stories during the event, which begins on 18 September.

"The ICC already has a longstanding relationship with SNTV and Reuters News," said Campbell Jamieson, the ICC's general manager, commercial.

"We are glad to have them on board for the next exciting instalment of the ICC World T20 as they have an excellent distribution, global reach and have previously provided great support to all ICC events including those that form part of the Pepsi ICC development programme."

He added: "We also welcome Perform as an ICC news access licensee for the first time at one of our major events. Their inclusion will further add to the distribution and reach of the event via Omnisport, their multi-platform daily sports news service."
