BSNL to launch fibre to home for high speed internet

Indian telco BSNL is to launch fibre to home (FTH) for customers seeking internet, telephone and TV channel access.

An internet speed of up to 100mbps will be available, enabling customers to download a movie in approximately one minute.
For getting a FTH connection with a speed of 1mbps customers would have to pay Rs 300 per month, and for 100mbps it would be about Rs 84,000 per month.
