Mobile video for Aircel Chennai Open

Tennis fans can watch live action on the move from the Chennai Open following the launch of a new mobile application by event sponsor and pan-Indian telecommunications operator Aircel, in partnership with IMG Reliance.

South Asia's prime ATP World Tour tennis championship, which will run from 30 December 2013 to 5 January 2014, will feature top players such as Stanislas Wawrinka, Mikhail Youzhny, Fabio Fognini and defending champion Janko Tipsarevic.

"The Aircel Chennai Open has always believed in presenting fans with new ways to follow, enjoy and connect with the tournament. We are glad to be taking advantage of the mobile revolution and launch this exciting application for Aircel Chennai Open 2014," said Ashu Jindal, COO, IMG Reliance.

"Tennis fans across the world can now follow their favourite stars and their matches ball by ball. The application was a huge success last year and we are confident this year will be even better."

The Android, iOS and Windows compatible app, developed by mobile consultants Hakuna Matata Solutions, will stream live matches and provide scores, draws, player lists and the latest tournament news.
