DigiVive secures T20 mobile streaming rights

DigiVive has acquired the mobile streaming rights of Karbonn Smart Champions League Twenty20 live from ESPN STAR Sports.

The streaming of all the matches is available on DigiVive’s mobile TV service - nexGTv until the mega finals on 28 October. Along with the live streaming, DigiVive will showcase match highlights on nexGTv.

Sanjay Kailash, executive vice president, ESPN Software India, said: “We are delighted to work with DigiVive for live streaming of Karbonn Champions League Twenty20. It is exciting to see more and more cricket fans using mobile as a means to catch cricket action live.”

GD Singh, director, DigiVive added: “Cricket is one of the most viewed programmes on satellite as well as mobile TV platform. The India-Sri Lanka series in August 2012 had over 15 million hits alone on nexGTv while the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup recorded over 20 million viewers. With the Karbonn Smart Champions League Twenty20 we expect the viewership to continue on the growth path.”
