Bollywood Hits On Demand celebrates Diwali with special access to blockbusters

International Media Distribution (IMD) and Eros International have announced that the Bollywood Hits On Demand line-up for November will include premieres of the summer hit Cocktail, the critically-acclaimed English Vinglish, and the record breaking hit of 2011, Ra. One, and one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of all time, Dabangg.

In celebration of Diwali on 13 November, the most important holiday of the year for Indian families, Comcast and Verizon are each offering customers free access to Bollywood Hits On Demand content for a limited time.

Verizon will offer a free preview of the entire SVOD service, Bollywood Hits On Demand, from 8 to 16 November. STAR India PLUS and TV Asia signals will also be open as part of a South Asian network free preview for Diwali.

Comcast will offer a special selection of movies, behind the scenes programming and music videos from Bollywood Hits On Demand to allow customers a free sampling from 13 to 27 November.

Scott Wheeler, senior vice president of International Media Distribution, said: "We are proud to share such an exciting line-up of movies and commend Comcast and Verizon for recognising this special time of year by offering a free preview to their customers."

Ken Naz, president of Eros International, USA, added: "We're excited to celebrate Diwali with Bollywood fans by offering special access to popular Bollywood blockbusters the whole family can enjoy."
