Vishwaroopam DTH release now set for 2 February

Actor-director-producer Kamal Haasan has decided to release his movie Vishwaroopam on DTH in India on 2 February, a week after it previews in theatres.

The film was originally set to be released on DTH a day before its theatrical release, but pressure from theatre owners led to its postponement.

Haasan said: "The Hindi version is poised for a release on 1 February and the DTH premiere on 2 February in the North. All three versions in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi will be premiered on 2 February. I will be able to announce the names of my DTH partners who will be involved in this endeavour with me soon."

He added that any customers who had already booked on DTH would be offered a refund or a rescheduling of the slot they had paid for.
