Tata Sky adds 9X Jhakaas to DTH bouquet

Marathi music channel 9X Jhakaas is now available to the eight million subscribers of Indian direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV provider Tata Sky.

"The launch of the channel 9X Jhakaas on Tata Sky is all about striking the right chord with our Marathi subscribers. As music is the universal language, this channel will complement others in our channel portfolio," said Mukund Sharma, vice president, content, Tata Sky.

Punit Pandey, EVP and new business head of channel owners 9X Media, said: "We are delighted to announce that Tata Sky subscribers can now enjoy non-stop hit Marathi music and humorous short format shows round the clock on 9X Jhakaas. We hope that our viewers on Tata Sky will also enjoy our new show, Jhakaas Khaas, and the popular programming Lai Bhari which gives a great insight into the Marathi film and music industry."

9X Jhakaas is available to Tata Sky subscribers on channel 798.
